河口淺間神社

864年の富士山の大噴火を鎮めるため、
富士山の神様である浅間大神を祀り、建立された神社。
境内には樹齢1200年以上の七本杉があり、
7本のうち2本並んだ杉は「縁結びの杉」として人気です。
Fuji in 864, the shrine was built to worship “Asama-no-okami”, the god of Mt.Fuji.
Within the shrine grounds are seven cedars that are over 1,200 years old, and two of the seven cedars in a row are popular as "match-making cedars.
